Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking an Automation Technician III to maintain an automated material handling system. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to keep the facility operating at peak efficiency.

Responsibilities include working with Allen Bradley PLCs, fieldbus networks, and servo-driven conveyors; performing diagnostic tests, replacing components, and recording repairs in Maximo. A strong mechanical/electrical background is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 5+ years electro-mechanical experience.
• Ability to read electrical/electronic schematics and mechanical diagrams.
• Experience with PLCs and fieldbus components.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all systems of automated storage and retrieval system.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Replace sensors, relays, and drive components; calibrate and align systems.
• Document repairs and PMs in Maximo; train others as needed.
