Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking an Automation Technician III to maintain the automated storage and retrieval system at our Windsor Locks facility. You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure rapid returns to service on conveyor and robotic systems.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of Allen Bradley PLCs and fieldbus components, with experience reading electrical schematics and maintaining Maximo work orders. Training will be provided for complex systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical or mechanical studies or 5+ years experience in electro-mechanical field.
• Ability to read electrical/electronic schematics and mechanical diagrams.
• Experience with Symbotic Rovers (BOTS) PM and repair.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automated material handling equipment to keep operations running.
• Perform preventive maintenance on robotic arms and end effectors.
• Document repairs and parts usage in Maximo.
