Job summary

Technimark in Pharr, TX is seeking an experienced Automation Technician to maintain and improve equipment performance across production cells. You will startup, operate, and adjust automation systems, replace components, and support changeovers to sustain OEE targets.

You will troubleshoot servo-driven systems, PLCs, and robots using multimeters and technical drawings, while training operators and sharing process knowledge to strengthen the team.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
• Ensure equipment reliability by performing preventive and corrective maintenance
• Record shift production data in IQ system for all work centers
• Start up and operate automation systems, adjust axis positions and parameters
• Replace, repair and improve mechanical and electrical components
• Train shift operators on automation system operation to improve OEE
• Troubleshoot servo-driven systems, vacuum circuits, and PLC-controlled machinery
• Support training of technical associates in process excellence
• Assist with production start-ups and changeovers on automation equipment
• Perform facility maintenance and repairs as needed
• Serve as troubleshooter during development runs
• Provide machine/process expertise in preventive actions related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost
