Job summary

Mark Anderson Companies is seeking an Automation Technician to support and advance automation initiatives across the organization. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance to troubleshoot and improve automated equipment and processes.

The role focuses on commissioning, diagnosing issues, and implementing automation solutions to boost efficiency and production performance, with opportunities to work on a variety of automation platforms.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in a related field.
2+ years of experience with PLC programming, robotics programming, automation systems, or systems integration.
Experience interfacing automation/robotic systems with manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot and improve automated systems and processes.
Experience with manufacturing standards and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

Support commissioning, qualification, and implementation of automation systems and projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve automation, robotics, and controls issues.
Develop and improve automation processes and procedures.
Maintain site automation standards and quality compliance.
Interface with suppliers, integrators, and stakeholders on automation initiatives.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, robotics systems, and manufacturing equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and productivity.
