Job summary

Sanofi is seeking an Automation Technician for our Swiftwater, PA site. The role focuses on providing hands-on support for automated process control systems in licensed manufacturing and related utilities.

Qualifications

GED or high school diploma; associate degree in a technical area preferred.
Minimum 5 years in automation/electro-mechanical engineering background.
Proven experience with automation service activities: understand P&ID, troubleshoot and repair control systems.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills; safe around 120–480 VAC.
Capable of PLC/SCADA programming and configuring networks and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Provide support of automated process control systems in licensed manufacturing.
Serve as Automation Site Support interface with Operations, QA, IS, Engineering, Maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment and process control systems.
Investigate process deviations and provide expert input for evaluations.
Implement site automation standards and improve response to failures.
