Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Manager of Automation in Swiftwater, PA to lead automation strategies for ligand-binding assays, design methods, and integrate them into high-throughput environments. You will collaborate with clinical testing groups to ensure smooth deployment of automated workflows.

The role requires a strong background in bioanalytical assays, data analysis, and automation, with experience in Hamilton platforms and GXP practices. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of industry experience in bioanalytical assay development, data analysis, and automation; OR
• Master’s degree with 1+ years of industry experience in bioanalytical assay development, data analysis, and automation.
• Internship or co‑op experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design bioanalytical methods compatible with automation platforms and lead the development, qualification, and validation of these methods with a focus on ligand binding assays.
• Troubleshoot issues that may arise with automated platforms
• Under direction of management, plans and oversees the day‑to‑day operations and general activities associated with one or more laboratories/projects.
• Ensures laboratory resources are maintained to meet objectives; evaluates performance/metrics and communicates to senior management; optimize laboratory performance based on metrics.
• Support a quality and compliant testing environment (laboratories, equipment, reagents, training and documentation, methods, personnel).
• Training coworkers on laboratory methods, procedures and techniques; assist with the generation of training modules as needed.
• Document generation associated with project/objectives (protocols, reports, SOPs, regulatory correpondences, or presentations).
• Support departmental quality by ensuring adequate support for documentation, investigation, and closure of quality items including change controls, deviations, and CAPAs.
