Perrigo is seeking an Automation Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and improve automation and control systems across manufacturing and facilities. You will work with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and various vision systems to keep equipment safe, reliable, and compliant.

The role supports GMP-compliant operations in a manufacturing setting, including packaging and serialization, and requires collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams. 3rd shift, NY site.

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in automation/industrial tech.
• 3–5 years’ experience supporting industrial automation in manufacturing.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, BMS, instrumentation, drives, networks.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and support automation, controls, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
• Provide technical support for packaging and manufacturing equipment, including legacy and new systems.
• Assist with startup, commissioning, validation, and optimization of equipment and technologies.
• Participate in root cause analyses, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
