Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking an Automation Technician to support maintenance and automation systems within the Industrial department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to keep equipment running smoothly. Location: Hanover, PA.

Pay ranges from $20 to $30 per hour DOE. Shift options include 3-6:30am to 6:30pm Sat-Mon and 4-6:30am to 6:30am Sat-Mon.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting up to 480V AC systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings.
• Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices.
• Basic computer skills including Windows and maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, ASRS cranes, mini-load shuttle systems, and related equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on PLC-controlled systems.
• Identify equipment issues proactively and communicate findings to leadership.
• Complete preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and safe work practices.

What's Needed?

• Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and tools
• Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Windows and maintenance software
