Our client, an industry leader in industrial solutions, is seeking an Automation Technician to join their team. As an Automation Technician, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting maintenance and automation systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Hanover, PA
Pay Range: $20 to $30 DOE
Shift: Shift 3 - 6:30am to 6:30pm Saturday through Monday; Shift 4 - 6:30pm to 6:30am Saturday through Monday
What's the Job?
- Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, ASRS cranes, mini-load shuttle systems, and associated material handling equipment
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on equipment and PLC-controlled systems
- Identify equipment issues proactively and communicate findings to leadership
- Complete preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability
- Maintain OSHA compliance and safe work practices
What's Needed?
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting up to 480V AC systems
- Understanding of DC control circuits and reading electrical schematics
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and tools
- Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Windows and maintenance software
