Job summary

Accelera is seeking an Automation Systems Engineer to drive the lifecycle of custom robotic and automated solutions, from concept through on-site commissioning. You will design robust control architectures, integrate servo drives, vision systems, and robotic platforms, and work with mechanical and project teams to deliver reliable automation and optimized manufacturing performance.

Strong documentation and hands-on commissioning are essential.

Qualifications

2-4 years in industrial controls programming and system integration.
Proficiency in PLC ladder logic and HMI on platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Omron.
Ability to read, interpret, and modify complex electrical drawings.
Willingness to travel ~25% to support field installations and customer startups.

Responsibilities

Architect, program, and troubleshoot advanced PLC and HMI control systems to enhance production performance.
Integrate servo drives, vision systems, and robotic platforms to meet requirements.
Interpret and refine electrical schematics for high-quality system documentation.
Perform hands-on commissioning and startup activities at customer sites.
Collaborate with mechanical and project teams to deliver reliable automation solutions.
Diagnose and resolve complex electromechanical issues with root-cause analysis.
Maintain precise documentation of system configurations and programming changes.
