Job summary

Raytheon’s Automation Systems Engineering team in Andover, MA seeks an ASE to support digital automation infrastructure in a microelectronics factory. You will enhance automation software, integrate sensors and equipment, and enable data-driven manufacturing decisions.

The role requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of experience in software development and a strong background in Ignition, SQL, Python, C#, LabVIEW .NET, and HTML5. Onsite work with security clearance considerations apply.

Qualifications

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience in software development using a combination of tools (Ignition, SQL, Python, C#, LabVIEW .NET, HTML5).
Experience diagnosing hardware and network-related issues effectively.

Responsibilities

Collaborate across functions to support Operations Technology needs, including microelectronic assembly equipment and robotics connectivity.
Sustain and enhance custom applications built on Ignition and other platforms; deploy software solutions.
Data extraction and processing to produce meaningful visualizations and metrics for factory operations.
