Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Software Systems Engineer for the Industry 4.0 initiative in a US-based onsite role. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and sustain Ignition-based IIoT solutions and perform RCCA for issues across SDF&A products.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of Ignition/IIoT experience, strong data analytics skills, and familiarity with industrial protocols. Travel up to 10% and on-site work in multiple U.S. locations, including McKinney, TX, may apply.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with 5+ years of experience.
• 5+ years experience including Ignition SCADA development using SQL, Python, C#/.NET, HTML5, JSON.
• Experience with scripting and dashboarding.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar Agile tools.
• Experience with Industry 4.0 concepts – connectivity, data collection, IIoT, systems integration, AI, ISA-95, Pub/Sub.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization of data from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects involving Ignition application development.
• Support IIoT growth with sensors, gateways, connectivity, APIs, and data analytics platforms.
• Recommend methods to connect manufacturing equipment to IIoT/OT network.
• Set communication protocols and network configurations on network devices (EIP, Modbus/TCP, MQTT, etc).
• Contribute to major projects with minimal oversight to solve complex problems for SDF&A Engineering Systems.
• Analyze large data sets and develop analytics reports and visualization toolsets with data integrity.
• Expect Domestic Travel 10% of the time.
