Job summary

Beckhoff Automation USA is seeking a Technical Support Specialist focused on Automation to join our Engineering Services team. You will provide high-level support for TwinCAT and related technologies, both onsite and remotely, across customer machine/control systems.

You will diagnose complex software issues, collaborate with global teams, and contribute to knowledge bases while mentoring teammates and expanding your own skillset in a hybrid role based in Savage, MN with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in automation or software support.
• Strong understanding of automation technologies and software development.
• Familiarity with web technologies (CSS, HTML5) and Windows and Linux OS

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical support for TwinCAT software and related technologies
• Provide onsite and remote support to customer machine/control systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer software control issues using advanced tools
• Support TwinCAT subcategories including IEC 61131-3 languages, C++, C#, JavaScript
• Record, track and document support requests through final resolution
• Participate in on-call support on rotation to triage after-hours service requests
• Mentor and lead team members in resolving large-scale or complex issues
