Job summary

Amada America, Inc. is seeking a field service professional in Jim Thorpe, PA to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems, install equipment according to drawings, and provide customer training and support.

Daily reporting and weekly expenses are required, with regular travel to customer sites. Candidates should have an electronics-related degree or equivalent experience, strong English communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• A 4 yr degree in Electronics or a minimum of a 2 yr degree with related work experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Proficient in trouble shooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment installation at customer site, including use of hand tools and safety procedures.
• Complete status (service) reports daily and expense reports weekly.
• Travel within assigned territories.
