Seaboard Foods in Guymon, OK is seeking an Automation Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of automation technicians responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial automation systems in a high‑throughput pork processing facility.

You will provide technical leadership on PLC/HMI systems, VFDs, robotics, and control software, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and align maintenance activities with production goals while developing staff and

Qualifications

Requires an associate/2-year technical degree in a related field with 3+ years of automation/electrical experience or 5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotics, and industrial control systems.
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical diagrams; troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment.
Experience leading a technical team and coordinating maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

Supervise and develop a team of Automation Technicians responsible for automation maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Provide technical leadership for PLC, HMI, robotics, and control-system issues to ensure reliability.
Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime and safety.
Lead root-cause analysis for downtime and implement corrective actions.
Ensure documentation, change control, and safety/compliance with electrical codes and lockout/tagout.
Communicate status and priorities with operations, maintenance, and management.
