Industrial Controls and Automation is seeking an Automation Specialist II to join their Engineering and Controls team. You will design control systems end-to-end, develop PLC and HMI solutions, and lead small projects through design, testing, and commissioning.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial controls, a BS in a related field, and strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs, plus Ethernet/IP networking. Location options include Houston, TX or Louisville, KY with on-site work.

Competenze

4 years of Industrial Controls experience in architectural, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry or similar field.
BS in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent industrial controls experience.
4 years of PLC programming experience including ladder logic and structured text.
Proficiency with Allen-Bradley equipment and systems, plus familiarity with Ethernet/IP networking.
Experience and knowledge of HMIs, including development and support through testing and startup.

Mansioni

Design control system details end-to-end from instrumentation configuration to training.
Collaborate with project managers and estimators to assess projects and support proposals.
Read diagrams and communicate with customers to understand objectives.
Develop PLC and HMI solutions including architecture, BOMs, IO lists, and control panel requirements.
Lead small projects technically by building templates and supporting commissioning and troubleshooting.
