Prime Controls, L.P. seeks an Automation Specialist II to design control system details, configure instrumentation, and prepare for implementation. This role involves creating PLC programs, developing HMIs, and mentoring junior staff throughout project lifecycles.

You will collaborate with project managers to assess projects, develop BOMs, and ensure successful testing, commissioning, and customer training for HVAC and industrial automation systems.

Competenze

• 4 years industrial controls experience in AEC or similar field.
• Bachelor's degree in mechatronics/engineering or related field, or equivalent industrial controls experience.
• 4 years PLC programming experience.
• Proficiency with Allen Bradley equipment and systems.
• Proficiency in PLC programming including ladder logic, function block, and structured text.
• Familiarity with Ethernet/IP networking.
• Experience and knowledge of HMIs.

Mansioni

• Design control system details, instrumentation configuration, and preparation for implementation.
• Develop PLC programs in ladder, function block, and other languages.
• Develop the HMI and related test plans, and write simulation logic.
• Lead small projects as technical lead and mentor junior staff.
• Collaborate with project managers to assess projects and prepare proposals.
• Test and commission systems, troubleshoot startup issues related to drawings or instrumentation.
