Job summary

Prime Controls Lp is looking for an Automation Specialist II in Schertz, Texas. In this role, you will design control systems, develop PLC programs, and ensure successful implementation and testing of systems. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 4 years of industrial controls experience. Proficiency with Allen Bradley and HMI development is essential. Qualifications

• 4+ years of Industrial Controls experience in an AEC industry or similar field.
• Proficiency in PLC programming including ladder logic, function block, and structured text.
• Familiarity with HMI development.

Responsibilities

• Design control system details and instrumentation configuration.
• Develop BOMs, IO lists, and requirements for control panels.
• Test and troubleshoot systems during startup.

Skills

Industrial Controls experience

PLC programming

Proficiency with Allen Bradley equipment

Networking (Ethernet/IP)

Experience with HMIs

Education
