Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent education/work experience.
• 2 years' systems or application engineering experience in metals or material handling.
• Strong client-facing and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial proposals and technical specifications to meet RFQ requirements.
• Define hardware and software solutions with clients and OEMs.
• Prepare detailed cost elements for technical specifications.
• Develop pricing strategies to maximize project margins.
• Identify enhanced product or service feature needs from client feedback.
• Design competitive technical approaches to resolve client issues.
• Provide feedback for product/service improvements to management.
• Prepare specifications for required components.
• Evaluate supplier proposals for best technical and economic solution.
• Deliver presentations at conferences and client meetings; travel as needed.
• Review brochures for technical accuracy.
• Guide in preparing, reviewing, and finalizing commercial proposals.
• Lead technical and commercial proposal development for small projects.
• Identify new products/applications to drive growth.
