Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2 years' experience with process and automation controls.
• 2 years' field engineering or metals/port industry experience.
• Ability to climb and work on cranes up to 175 feet.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally >75%.

Responsibilities

• Commission AC and DC drive systems and/or control software to meet design performance criteria.
• Tune up closed loop regulators for optimal equipment performance.
• Develop, verify, and implement algorithms for electro-mechanical port crane systems.
• Troubleshoot complex control systems and supervise commissioning activities.
• Design, configure, and test system software and hardware per contract.
• Train client personnel on system maintenance and operation.
