Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Automation SME for a high‑profile cloud modernization and security effort in Montgomery, AL. The contract role requires an Active Secret Clearance and hands‑on Terraform, Ansible, and scripting expertise to automate infrastructure and deployments in a secure enterprise setting.

You will drive IaC, automation governance, and CI/CD practices, collaborating with security and operations to meet compliance and authorization goals while delivering scalable, reliable platforms.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Extensive Terraform and IaC experience.
• Strong Ansible automation skills.
• Advanced scripting in Python, PowerShell, Bash.
• Experience automating infrastructure, CI/CD, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain IaC solutions with Terraform across cloud and on-prem.
• Build and optimize Ansible playbooks, automation workflows, and runbooks.
• Develop automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash and Shell scripting.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, and security controls.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub/GitLab/Jenkins/Azure DevOps.
• Support secure automation, secrets management, PKI integration, governance.
• Troubleshoot complex automation issues across enterprise environments.
• Create technical docs, procedures, and compliance artifacts.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations on compliance.
• Lead discussions, gather requirements, and train stakeholders.
