Job summary

Front Range Community College is seeking qualified part-time instructors to teach in the Automation & Engineering Technology program. This role focuses on hands-on lab experiences with PLCs, robotics, and electromechanical systems to prepare students for advanced manufacturing careers.

Instructors deliver high-quality instruction, foster engaging learning environments, assess student learning, and maintain lab safety while collaborating with faculty and industry partners to keep curriculum

Qualifications

• A relevant current industry license or certification with 4,000 hours in seven years.
• An associate degree or credit-bearing post-secondary certificate with 4,000 hours in seven years.
• A related Bachelor's or higher with 2,000 hours in seven years.
• Any unrelated degree with 6,000 hours in 10 years and a skills demonstration.
• No degree with 10,000 hours in 10 years and a skills demonstration.
• CTE credential or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction for Automation & Engineering Technology courses.
• Create engaging learning environments and assess student learning outcomes.
• Maintain laboratory safety and ensure curriculum aligns with workforce needs.
• Collaborate with full-time faculty and industry partners to update the curriculum.
• Courses may be offered daytime, evening, or weekend at multiple FRCC campuses.
