Job summary

The position requires an associate degree with 4,000 hours of experience or Journeyman status, plus 2–3 years in industry and 3+ years teaching.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field with 4000 hours of documented work experience OR, Journeyman status.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience, and knowledge of electrical for industrial applications, motor controls, PLCs, hydraulics, fluid power, and pneumatics
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience, and knowledge of automation and robotics
• Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver Instruction for assigned classes and/or labs.
• Prepare lessons and provide a course syllabus with grading policies.
• Verify student enrollment and submit grade sheets.
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Provide student assistance and refer students to support services.
• Accommodate special needs students as required.
• Other duties as assigned that pertain to the job description.
