Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Facilities Equipment Specialist to ensure peak performance of robotic and material handling infrastructure within our automated distribution environment in St. Louis. You will perform proactive repairs, calibrations, and maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability.

The role requires strong electrical/mechanical skills, ability to read schematics, and capability to document activities using Office tools while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial maintenance or mechanical repair.
• Troubleshoot 120/208/480V electrical systems.
• Interpret complex technical blueprints, schematics, and service manuals.
• Competency with Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with powered hand tools and heavy equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventative maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime and system longevity.
• Resolve complex electrical and mechanical failures in conveyors, motors, relays, and industrial sensors.
• Install and calibrate automated distribution hardware to meet operational throughput requirements.
• Diagnose root causes of mechanical malfunctions and implement durable, long-term technical solutions.
• Document all service activities and equipment modifications to maintain comprehensive operational logs.
• Promote a culture of safety by strictly adhering to industrial protocols and identifying potential hazards.
