Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an Automation QA Lead to define and advance the automation strategy for its API Gateway platform. The role combines hands-on automation with quality leadership to ensure reliability, security, and performance of enterprise API services.

The successful candidate will build modern automation frameworks, develop reusable test suites, and integrate testing into Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, while mentoring teams and improving release quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in software quality assurance, automation engineering, or quality engineering.
• Experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the test automation vision and roadmap for the API Gateway platform.
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for API, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Establish quality engineering standards and automation governance across the platform.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, product, and platform teams to embed quality.
• Define quality metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
