Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead automation projects for consumer, life sciences, and industrial clients. You will manage hardware design, PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, and power distribution, while guiding teams and maintaining client relationships.

You will collaborate with senior engineers and domain experts to deliver high‑quality controls solutions, coordinate with finance and operations, and travel as needed to install and startup systems across

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience developing and programming automation solutions for industrial settings.
• Proficiency with Rockwell hardware and software.
• Willingness to travel for installation, startup, trainings, and client meetings.
• A BS in Electrical Engineering preferred, other engineering degrees considered with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage project tasks: hardware/panel design, PLC/HMI programming, SCADA design, power distribution, and documentation.
• Oversee project execution: proposals, estimating, scheduling, resources, finances, staffing, contracts, orders, quality control, customer satisfaction.
