Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams across design, engineering, supply chain, and customers for large-scale automation implementations. This role requires onsite work at client sites with up to 60% travel and collaboration across multiple time zones.

You will own delivery, manage scope, cost, and schedule, and drive proactive risk management while coordinating with engineering, quality, installation, and commissioning leaders to ensure successful on-time,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years experience managing large automation, material handling, or construction projects.
• Proven experience in scheduling, scope, cost, and risk management for complex technical projects.
• Background in robotic automation, ASRS, or material handling preferred.
• Experience managing design/build, installation, and construction projects.
• Proficient with scheduling software, earned value management, and data-driven performance tracking (Smartsheet / Jira).

Responsibilities

• Own project delivery, ensuring scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives are met.
• Lead cross-functional teams through project execution to achieve goals.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, quality, installation, and commissioning leaders for timely delivery.
• Identify and manage risks & opportunities to stay on budget and on schedule.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings with clear updates for stakeholders.
• Foster transparency, timely decision-making, and strong partnerships across all participants.
