Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring an Automation Programming Technician in Lebanon, TN. The role focuses on programming and troubleshooting CNC machines, lasers, and robotic equipment to keep production moving safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have experience with AutoCAD and Inventor, a technical degree or certification, and strong mechanical and automation skills. Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM with pay between $25.00 and $30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Ability to read and modify parts and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC machine programming.
• Automation and machine troubleshooting experience.
• Experience working with robotic systems and automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot CNC machines, lasers, and robotic equipment.
• Create and modify robot paths and movement programs.
• Diagnose and resolve programming and automation issues.
• Assist with integrating robotic systems into production processes.
• Use software interfaces to modify machine programs and settings.
• Support continuous improvement efforts through automation solutions.
• Work with manufacturing teams to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain equipment performance and operational reliability.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.
