Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring an Automation Technician in Miamisburg, OH. The role supports manufacturing with assembly, testing, and repair of automation components in a compliant environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, plus technical training or experience. You will work Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and earn competitive weekly pay with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Vocational/technical education preferred
• Two years related experience or equivalent
• Ability to read electrical/electronic schematics
• Ability to interpret basic mechanical blueprints
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly methods
• Strong organization, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work safely around machinery and electrical systems
• Capable of lifting 10 lb regularly and up to 50 lb occasionally
• Willingness to travel to customer facilities when needed

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble, test, repair, and package automation components
• Build production and prototype assemblies from engineering specifications
• Evaluate components for quality and proper fit
• Document and report discrepancies through the quality system
• Plan and complete assigned production tasks efficiently; collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality and delivery goals
• Assist supervisors with production planning and coordination
• Follow ISO procedures, work instructions, and documentation standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Recommend improvements to quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction
• Support equipment installation and startup at customer facilities
