Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks an experienced supply chain leader in Michigan to ensure uninterrupted material availability for production and to drive continuous improvement across inventory and logistics. You will partner with suppliers, carriers, and cross-functional teams to align with build schedules and launches.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and 5+ years of progressive supply chain experience in automotive/manufacturing, with strong Lean, JIT, and ERP/MRP (SAP) knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years in supply chain, materials or logistics in manufacturing.
• Experience leading teams in plant or distribution environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain including inbound logistics and material flow.
• Ensure on-time delivery to support daily production schedules.
• Manage supplier and 3PL relationships to optimize cost and quality.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering on capacity planning.
• Drive Lean/Six Sigma to reduce waste and costs.
• Develop and coach a team of analysts and schedulers.
• Monitor KPIs and report to plant leadership.
• Mitigate supply disruptions with contingency planning.
