Job summary
Q-Edge Corporation, Foxconn in Houston seeks a manufacturing automation engineer to lead NPIs, debugging, and sustaining complex automated systems including robotics, PLCs, AOI, and AGVs. You will ensure electrical/software stability and drive downtime reduction and cycle-time optimization.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.
- Experience with robotics, AGV, AOI or related fields is highly preferred.
- AI implementation experience in automation environments is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze root causes of failures using professional analysis techniques to identify design or process issues.
- Participate in early-stage Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and DOE verification for equipment design/development.
- Lead installation, debugging and commissioning of equipment at NPI, push improvements to reduce downtime.
- Maintain production equipment during MP stage, manage spare parts inventory and risk.
