Job summary

鴻海精密工業股份有限公司 in Houston seeks an experienced engineer to lead the introduction (NPI), debugging, and sustaining of complex automated manufacturing systems on the production floor. You will ensure electrical and software stability of robotics, PLCs, AOI, and AGVs, and drive technology upgrades to minimize downtime and improve cycle times.

You will analyze failures, implement DOE verifications, and collaborate across design, manufacturing, and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing; automotive electronics/semiconductor/precision assembly preferred.
Experience with robotics, AGV, AOI or related fields highly preferred.
AI implementation experience in automation environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze root causes of failures using professional techniques and tools.
Lead early-stage equipment introduction, DOE verification, and design feedback.
Push equipment setup, installation, and debugging at NPI; promote resolution of equipment failures.
Maintain machinery in MP stage; manage spare parts inventory and risk alerts.
