Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and operation of building systems in a client facility in New York. You will repair, maintain, and improve material handling equipment and robotic systems across the site.

You will promote safety, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and document preventive maintenance while coordinating with the Client and Operations Maintenance teams. Strong computer skills and tool experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues related to MHE and robotics.
• Install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Collaborate with Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
