Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 (MT2) to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated material handling equipment in a fast-paced supply chain facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, quickly troubleshoot breakdowns, and restore equipment to service to sustain operations for the guest experience.

You will collaborate with skilled technicians and engineers, follow safety practices, and help ensure high equipment availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and robotics is a plus.
• Must meet physical demands and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical and mechanical aspects of MHE on site.
• Adjust scanners, cameras, field buses, scales and printer applicators.
• Repair or replace belts, chains, and other wear parts.
• Calibrate equipment and follow procedures and manuals.
• Use asset management systems to create and close work orders.
