Job summary

Target is hiring an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 (MT1) to maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment in our supply chain facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems, and read schematics while collaborating with other technicians and engineers.

This entry-level role offers growth to MT2 with demonstrated proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic PC skills and ability to use mobile apps.
• Experience with maintenance of electrical/electronic systems and MHE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment on site.
• Perform preventive maintenance on MHE, HVAC, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic circuits using standard tools.
• Read and interpret basic electrical schematics and blueprints.
