Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 to maintain and repair automated material handling equipment. The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineers to ensure high equipment availability for the supply chain facility.

The candidate will read schematics, perform basic electrical work, operate Target vehicles for on-site tasks, and support safety protocols while contributing to efficient operations across distribution

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiar with basic wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) on site.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment (PITs, HVAC, air compressors, dryers, balers).
• Read and understand electrical/electronic schematics and use handheld devices to manage work orders.
