Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of practical mechanical engineering experience in automation.
• Strong 2D/3D CAD skills; AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Understanding of system integration, layouts, GD&T, and vendor collaboration.
• Ability to manage components independently and communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical subsystems for automated material-handling projects (conveyors, mezzanines, structures).
• Create 2D/3D layouts, drawings, calculations, and material-flow diagrams.
• Own smaller project components, typically $500K–$1M, with growth toward larger work.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, sales, vendors, customers, and cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
• Support equipment selection, vendor coordination, project planning, risk identification, site installation, commissioning.
• Help improve engineering tools, standards, and processes while building warehouse-automation expertise.
