Job summary

enVista is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and implement automated material handling systems. This role spans the full product lifecycle—from concept and design to installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of experience with automated machinery.
• Willingness to travel up to 35–40%.
• Hybrid capacity based at Willowbrook, IL office.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated material handling systems based on customer specifications.
• Evaluate feasibility of new product integrations with respect to cost and timeline.
• Apply sound engineering practices and leverage vendor relationships to develop innovative solutions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including scheduling, coordination, and execution.
• Oversee on-site installations, including debugging, testing, and training.
• Create detailed designs, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Develop and maintain project documentation.
