CONVERGIX Automation Solutions is seeking a hands-on technician to support local projects in Michigan. You will work with the mechanical team to operate machine tools, troubleshoot issues, and service equipment onsite.

The role involves travel within the US and some international opportunities, with a focus on local client needs and quality delivery. A completed apprenticeship and high school diploma are required, along with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Apprenticeship completed in a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of operating machine tools.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Continuously improves processes and delivers conforming quality products and services to internal/external customers.
• Interfaces with build staff and other departments.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Coordinates machine tool operations.
• Troubleshoots and debugs issues.
• Provides customer service.
• Builds, tears down, ships, installs, and services equipment.
