Job summary

Itape is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join the Operations team. You will build automated machines and multi-station systems, assemble components from drawings, test operations, and collaborate with engineers to ensure correct machine performance.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in automation/manufacturing, can read blueprints, and are willing to travel domestically and internationally. A passport and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in automation or related experience in manufacturing.
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Ability and willingness to obtain Passport.
• Ability to read blueprints and plan/build from them.

Responsibilities

• Build complex automated standalone machines as well as large automated systems with multiple stations both electrically and mechanically.
• Assembles components according to assembly drawings, manuals, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Test, troubleshoot, and debug; communicate with engineers for correct operation.
• Read blueprints and drawings, identify parts, and plan assembly sequences.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites up to 30%.
