R M HEADLEE CO INC is seeking an skilled Assembler / Automation Technician to join our team in New York. You will read schematics, align materials, and connect parts to create complex components, with calibration of electric and pneumatic controls.

The ideal candidate has strong manual dexterity, ability to read and follow blueprints, and experience assembling and testing valve packages, actuators, and controls, ensuring high quality and strict documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Technical school certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints/schematics.
• Experience reading manuals and following procedures.
• Strong manual dexterity and tool handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Read manuals, drawings and schematics to perform tasks.
• Assemble components to create complex pieces.
• Assemble & Test valve packages with valve, actuator and controls.
• Maintain a high level of quality control and traceability.
• Keep detailed records of procedures and results.
• Package products for transport; load/unload equipment as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembler / Automation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will create complex components by aligning materials and connecting parts. The ideal candidate has the ability to read and follow schematics, technical knowledge, and excellent manual dexterity. The ideal candidate will have experience with assembling and calibrating electric and pneumatic controls

Responsibilities

• Read and understand manuals, drawings, and schematics
• Put parts together to create more complex pieces
• Assemble & Test Valve Packages with Valve, Actuator and Controls
• Maintain a high level of quality control
• Keep detailed records
• Package Product in Boxes/Crates
• Load/Unload Trucks for inbound and Outbound equipment
• Inbound inspection of components
• Organize and put components on shelving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification or diploma from a technical school is preferred but not required
• Previous experience as an Assembler / Automation Technician or in a similar role
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
• Ability to operate machinery and use hand tools
• Maintain a clean and Organized workspace
• Strong understanding of quality control principles
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
