Amtec Solutions Group in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to contribute to the manufacture of custom factory automation equipment and assemblies. You will read drawings, follow technical directions, and complete tasks safely both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities include maintaining an organized workspace, supporting other manufacturing activities, and occasional travel to customer sites, possibly overnight.

Qualifications

• 1 year in industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools and reading drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow directions precisely.
• Team-based work in a manufacturing setting with safety focus.
• Willingness to overtime and travel as needed.
• Must pass drug screen and background check; valid driver's license; U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Participate in manufacturing of custom factory automation equipment and assemblies.
