iAutomation seeks a skilled Machine Builder Technician to join our team. This hands-on role focuses on assembling, integrating, and testing complex custom automation machinery in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, can read engineering drawings, work with pneumatics and basic electrical components, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to meet specifications.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED; a technical certification or associate's degree is preferred.
5+ years of experience building automated machinery, packaging equipment, or industrial systems.

Responsibilities

Assemble complex automated machinery, systems, and sub-assemblies from drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Install pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical components.
Collaborate with engineering, controls, and manufacturing teams to ensure equipment functions per specifications.
Perform mechanical troubleshooting, alignment, and precision adjustment of moving components.
Assist in testing, debugging, and system startup activities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Support field service teams with equipment installation and commissioning when required.
