Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. in Puerto Rico is seeking a Mechanic Operator, Automation to perform mechanical and pneumatic maintenance on production equipment while supporting safety and quality goals.

You will service and maintain multiple machines, learn new systems, interpret prints, and update maintenance logs. The role requires basic electrical knowledge, Spanish and English communication, and willingness to work a 12-hour night shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to work overtime and on a 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and pneumatic maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and related systems.
• Document maintenance activities and update logs.
• Support QA, Process, and Facilities in problem solving and improvements.
• Learn and service Vision Systems and related equipment.
