Air Products is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer of Automation to support critical technology systems on the production floor in St. Louis, MO.

The role emphasizes diagnosing production-impacting issues in IT and OT environments and collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Cybersecurity, IT, and vendor teams to keep plant operations reliable. The ideal candidate has a strong troubleshooting mindset, safety focus, and experience across SCADA, Historian, AVEVA, and related

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, computer science, automation, or related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience accepted.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure, OT systems, or manufacturing technology.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial/plant environments with production-impacting IT/OT issues.
• Willingness to provide off-hours support for critical outages,ups deployments or incidents.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and resolve production-impacting IT/OT issues on the shop floor.
• Support IT and OT systems across applications, servers, networks, and devices.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Cybersecurity, IT and vendors to ensure reliable plant operations.
• Diagnose, communicate, and own issues through to resolution with minimal downtime.
