Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an Automation Manager to lead maintenance, troubleshooting, programming, and continuous improvement of automated manufacturing systems. You will supervise automation technicians and controls personnel, schedule daily activities, and drive reliability, safety, and compliance with company standards across our facilities.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and IT to optimize systems, manage projects and vendors, and implement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in automation or a related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of industrial automation, controls, or maintenance experience.
Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Supervise automation technicians and controls personnel.
Schedule work assignments and prioritize maintenance activities.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide training.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Lead meetings and communicate priorities effectively.
Oversee PLC, HMI, robotics, drives, and instrumentation troubleshooting.
Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs for automation equipment.
