Job summary

Amcor, a global leader in packaging, seeks an Automation Manager to lead site automation strategies and engineering initiatives at our New York operations. You will drive capital projects, lifecycle management, and reliability improvements while developing talent and promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, and Supply Chain to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years in manufacturing automation.
• 3+ years of people leadership and cross-functional project experience.
• Experience with PLCs, HMI/SCADA, and industrial networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute site automation and controls strategies.
• Lead capital projects from concept to commissioning.
• Drive equipment reliability and OEE improvements.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, safety, and supply chain.
