Job summary
Front Door Defense is seeking an Engineering Technician to lead maintenance and upgrades of PET equipment, ensuring compliant manufacturing operations at West Chester Township, Ohio. You will troubleshoot technical issues, implement process improvements, and coordinate with Operators, PET Engineers, and Quality teams to sustain output and quality.
The role requires experience in a regulated setting, ladder logic knowledge, and proficiency with SAP MRO systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in a regulated production environment.
- Ability to understand, read, write and follow English instructions.
- Experience and knowledge of ladder logic.
- Proficient with SAP MRO/work-order documentation and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Perform emergency, corrective and preventive maintenance on PET equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment using PLC, HMI, SCADA and related tech.
- Monitor performance and analyze data trends to identify root causes.
- Support deviation investigations and capital project input.
- Assist in equipment qualification, documentation, and validation activities.
- Lead maintenance and upgrade efforts with minimal supervision.
