Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to repair and calibrate its automated and robotic systems, including Automated Adapters, Lifts and robotic vehicles. The role focuses on mechanical, PLC and electrical subsystems and requires hands-on maintenance, calibration and documentation.

You will ensure high system performance, safety and throughput while working in a dynamic customer environment and adhering to CMMS procedures.

Qualifications

Associate degree or certification in electronics, automation or related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience with mechanical automation systems or equivalent training.
Strong troubleshooting abilities and the ability to read electro-mechanical diagrams.
Experience operating Automated systems and PLC knowledge.

Responsibilities

Inspect systems related to Automated Storage and Retrieval System and automated adapters/lifts.
Lead continuous operations by adjusting, calibrating, repairing, or replacing components.
Monitor flow of the system through adapters to maximize throughput.
Troubleshoot robotic vehicle anomalies using wiring diagrams and test equipment.
Document actions, parts used and labor in CMMS with quality records.
Communicate production-impacting issues and estimated repair times to team.
Operate in dynamic environments and adapt to changing business needs.
Clean up after repairs and remove replaced parts.
Assist with robotic arm calibration, tool changes and preventive maintenance.
Follow 5S policies and perform Cell Operator duties as needed.
