Job summary

King City Gardens is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair automated machinery and production systems to ensure optimal performance and quality adherence. You will troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with senior technicians to enhance equipment reliability while supporting continuous production.

The role requires a background in mechanical or electrical engineering basics, hands-on manufacturing experience, and a commitment to safety and GMP

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of automationsystems, including process control, instrumentation, and servo-driven systems with ladder logic.
• Proficiency in calibrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks effectively around production activities.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using hand and power tools for maintenance and repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail, ensuring quality standards.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety protocols.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and processes in automation and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect automated machinery, equipment, and systems to identify issues and ensure functionality.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks around production activities.
• Assist in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of automated systems per specifications.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance and quality checks on automated systems to uphold standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance procedures.
• Assist in planning and scheduling repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to GMP and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
